I used this ap for work so I could see all my pinned locations in the areas I was traveling in and loved it. Now the pins do not show on map. That was the whole purpose of this ap for me. What can I do so that I can see my pins as I travel and see my real time location?..

Difficult to begin to use. There are no instructions. Held finger on place and the pin showed up for a particular address. I was trying to pin The city. I could see mo way to write a note. Worse. Only 3 pins allowed. Who’d want to get an app to pin their travels if they only had three places they visited? Then i see that I can have more if I pay $7. Unlimited then? But to pay that much with all that doesn’t work?! No way! I guess I have to shop again!

App crashes when deleting pins.

Used to work great, you could see your location and any pins near you. Now, after an update, they only show in list form, which is way less helpful. Please go back to the way it was. Fix needed!

I no longer can view my pin locations looking at an area. I have to now type in a desired location to find it now. Looks like the app has changed. Being able to look at other dropped locations helps me navigate in my work. Not so much now with the changes made

Lost all my pin drops! After update opened app and lost all pin drops… still have labels. Fix please!!

Bought this app and it wont even change the colors of the pins. Garbage

Lack of a sync is a huge downside. i like this app quite a lot except for that, but that is causing me to look hard for alternatives.

I love this app and use it for many things but most importantly for work. Unfortunately it seems as though the upgrade to iOS 15 has created a bug in some of the purchased options such as choice of pin color. Hopefully the developer is aware of this issue and working on a solution.

After years of using this app, something has changed. I can no longer change the default name of pins. This is a huge problem. I tried to delete and reinstall the app, but now I cannot even unlock the advanced features I already paid for. There is no way that I can find to contact the developer except if they actually read reviews, so for now I will have to leave a poor review, which is unfortunate because this used to be a very useful app. Here’s hoping they can fix it.

I stop at multiple locations for picking up and dropping off loads. The app makes it easy to mark and note the location to get an idea what that was like the last time i visited. Thank you!

Short and sad story: Bought the app 1 minute after failing to see how to import a file on the demo version. After buying it, I used Files to “Copy to Maps+” the track I want to edit (created by a Garmin Foretrex). A Nike-like checkmark happily tells me I succeeded, but the track comes up EMPTY. And as we all know, it is hard to edit an EMPTY track. :( Edited the track on the web to clean it up of extensions, using GPSVisualizer.com... Still nothing. Maps+ still imports an empty track ??? I am hoping I can get some help before I ask for my money back? And no, I don’t use Twitter. And I will not use it just to get support on the app. Please help. I will update my vote if I can use it.

I really like this app but the share does not work, as well as other features.

Paid 7 bucks to be able to import gpx files but there is absolutely no option available even though they claim that’s one of the upgrades when purchasing. Trash app.

ReRevised still Dec 2019. After 3 days all of my old bookmarks reappeared. It was almost biblical. Where in cyberspace they went in those 3 days I don’t know. But we are back to five stars. I just wish the developer Would add a color wheel so there was more than just seven colors to pick from. Revised December 2019 1 Star - I loved this app. Used it for years. Noticed today there was an update so took advantage of it. Immediately all of my bookmarks / pins were erased. Over 600 lost. All the work that went into that. Whatever you do don’t update your application. Or better yet just don’t use it Love the app for marking travel locations. Use a different color for every year. But we need more colors. 7 aren’t enough. I’m running one map on my iPad and an older one on my iPhone. Would be great if you’d install a color wheel so we could pick our own colors.

Why not open tracking programs for all people using?

We tend to travel a lot and this map over the years has allowed me to navigate and also Pin tons of places we like and be able to find them again on a next visit. Having used this app for many years I have just noticed there is no iCloud back up support. I hate to admit this but I use 2 phones when I travel and I just noticed that in doing so I have pinned numerous things in the different phones that unfortunately are not on both. Any chance of a solution? Other than that a great app. Would be a 5 star app with some iCloud integration.

I use this religiously to keep track of rest stops, Fuel stops, vendor locations, pet friendly stops, trip planning, restaurants I like, places I want to stop at next time I’m through, etc. love Maps+! But I’m growing too big for maps+ 😓 I need more colored pins or custom pin icons. Will additional pin colors and/or custom pin icons be included in any future update?

Thank you for creating a functional gps with the tilt-pan combined with realistic satellite imagery that follows me while I’m in motion. So many other iOS map apps have utterly failed to convince me to keep their app on my phone because of the reasons that I’ve stated earlier. Keep developing it in this direction and you’ll keep my business for when you release paid product services in the future. I’m most likely one of the few individuals that can bi-pass my oem navigation system to screen mirror my phone on my well hardware equipped oem Nav system via iphone6 - lightning to av over hdmi with my vehicles oem hdmi input port. These apps make the driving experience way more efficient and ironically, I spend less time messing with my phone because I can see a wider range of the map while in motion and can act quicker when making navigation decisions.

The maps are good but I looked at Disneyland and the new Star Wars land ,it was an older version map.no 3D ,time this map got a better and newer interface picture

App does what is claimed, would be perfect if it did routes between two selected pins. Deleting the app.

I love the app, its simple to use,I do have an issue with the share option throw.I have a Apple model Mqdc2ll/A and on my version under the share option the print option doesn’t come up but on my old apple tablet it does, however the app is to new for it to work correctly on my old tablet. If that bug or issue was corrected it would be great👍.

I have been using this app for 2 years or so and all of a sudden more than half of my pins disappeared. I had maybe 200, a little help here please.

I got this app because I have had trouble with the Apple maps. It downloaded and I decided to test it out. I added a pin, then added another one a few miles away. But you can’t get directions from one to the other. The previous review said that it is possible, which it might be, but how? If someone has the answer, please help!

Again without street view app is useless Street view keeps showing error and will not load

I had mapped 350 deployed nest box sites with push pins. All worked well. The feature I like most about Map+ is seeing where my car is as I drive around the county looking for my boxes. However, when I mapped the future next one-hundred boxes, the push pins for some of the existing boxes disappeared, sometimes returning, then gone again. Worse, not anticipating their eventual return to visibility, I re-dropped new pins where I noticed missing pins. Moreover, Suspecting the app’s memory to be exhausted, I deleted the pins for the 100 future boxes. Am I doing something wrong? Is there an option or setting or an upgrade I must purchase that accommodates 1000 push pins?

This app continues to crash it will not open. And why is there no way for me to contact anyone?

Every time I open this app, it crashes. I've tried hard resetting the phone, updating to the latest software, soft resetting the phone, deleting and reinstalling the app multiple times. I use this app on a daily basis and I need this to work. Please contact me.

Why did you guys change your usability? Originally, this app was, Hand down, the best Navigation app for those who didn't need turn by guidance and liked to see on their location in relation to other points of interest. The multiple bookmarks is still great, but it changed the the app from something that can be used for general directions to something you just pull up at a computer and use for referencing relative locations from time to time. The market is probably small for someone looking for those features, but it made maps+ the most robust navy app available for those not needing turn by turn nav.

I also think this latest version with clumping pins together is useless. It used to be so easy when I was traveling to see all my colored pins (purple/restaurants, brown/hotels, etc.) Thank you thank you thank you! You got rid of all those silly numbers. I opened it up today and was so happy

I hate it that there is no terrain option are you kidding me! Please you have to bring it back

This app was great at first. I was using it to drop multiple pins for a tournament and needed to see all at one time, but unfortunately the app crashed and I can't open the app any more. I tried force quit, I deleted the app and reinstalled it, soft reset, and complete reset on my phone and nothing has worked. This app is great when it works but once it crashed you're pretty much SOL with all the pins you needed.

I use this app all the time, I'm a photographer and i need help remembering all of my spots of interest, and this app was great because i could see all of their different pin heads. However, due to one of it's updates, now if you zoom out too far, it'll clump all of the pins into a single ball and give it a number for however many pins it symbolizes. Not only that, but it seems FAR less smooth, every time i move around too fast it begins to lag, which gets VERY annoying. That's all that i wish they'd undo. Now, something i wish they would add, is notes for each location, or possibly being able to add a picture for recognition purposes. That would be so nice. After all that, I love this app, it's helpful and a great organizer. But please, please fix the issues addressed.

If you need multiple pins on a map, this is the app!!! I used to have a laptop mounted in the vehicle with Delorme Maps until this app came out a few years ago. Then I switched to an ipad mounted in the vehicle. Much better on space and usability. I typically have 15 to 40 addresses to go to each day. The ability to place pins on a map and have a graphical interface to look at when planning my route saves me a lot of time. I have never used route planning on any of the map software I have used as I know my territory very well and can do better with my local knowledge of where traffic bottlenecks are at different times of the day, construction, which shortcuts are good, etc. Sometimes due to interuptions, or rushes, I have to adjust my route. Very easy for me to do without having to change the route on the software. The big deal to me and my fellow co-workers who use the program is being able to easily add and delete pins to the map based on our workload. I actually liked the old version 1.3.6 only because of the graphical interface. It had a grayish background and the roads were easier with the contrast. The newer version has a better interface. Easier and a bit more intuitive to use. It appears they dropped the routing feature which I don't use anyway. Since the IOS 10 update, I have lost seeing the buildings in the Standard view in all versions of the app. Obviously you can see it in Satellite view but I prefer the less cluttered look of the Standard view which is also easier to read the street names. For my purposes, the only thing missing from the app is the following: Buildings missing from the Standard View since ios 10 update & Ability to sync maps between iphone and ipad Overall, I love the program and won't do without it.

Wish they would bring back the green traffic overlay.

New update will not work on my phone or my iPads. Good app before latest update please fix.

The new update is terrible. The whole point in a maps app where you can place pins is to easily find saved destinations. Now I have to zoom in just to see all of my pins. It's like I have to spend 5min trying to find the pin I want to get to! They should all be displayed at the same time.

I love this app for my delivery routes but for crying out loud can we have some iCloud backups? I hate having to book mark every address again... I was expecting more with the paid upgrade.

This app needs a way to sync between devices VERY badly. Otherwise it was just what I was looking for.

Why is even the point of having this app if it sends you to Google Maps or Apple Maps for directions?

My wife and I have travelled internationally and the bookmarks feature has been huge for us. Restaurants, monuments, etc we can bookmark (or 'pin it') and we know we have been there and want to return. Want to map out an itinerary? Bookmark the places you want to go in advance. Pass something interesting but don't have time to check it out? Pin it! And the app allows you to export the bookmarks ( all or some). The only suggestion I have for the developers is possibly to find a way to allow bookmarks to sync across devices. Overall we love it.

The biggest differentiator for this app used to be advanced routing, tracking and bookmarks. That's why I paid the money for it. (That and it was miles better than Apple Maps). But with this major new release, they've taken out two of those major feature categories. The worst part? Directions take you to Google or Apple Maps app. Excuse me, but why did I pay $2.99 for you to take me to another app to do basic directions? Because you map my Twitter feed (new feature)? Sorry, but knowing where someone just tweeted a photo of their butterfly whip cream design in their Pumpkin Spice Latte with the latest Instagram filter isn't going to help me get to Carson City. Lame regression. I won't use this app until they bring back a reason for me to do so. Bring back: Advanced routing Tracking features/Alarms In-App turn-by-turn directions Quick Pin Hide/Show button
