Maps+ app for iPhone and iPad

provides a good layer with bookmarks (pins and routes) to use google maps. very well designed, simple and clean. people who are complaining did not get the idea of it... recommended...

As of today I have not seen probelms with previously reported search limits. Take a look at the fb page of the comapny where they explain that this is an issue with googles 100k daily search limit in the API. Evidently the mayor apple SNAFU eith maps has increased the demand for searches through other map apps to exceed the daily quota. The company will need to negotiate a new deal with google before they can provide the same service as before. Possibly this has happened already since I can search and route with the app. The software itself does everything that google maps used to do only nicer and with a better gui. plus a few extra features for which I will happily pay a small unlocking fee. I understand the disgruntled users but am 100% sure this company is not trying to rip off its customers. They have a great product which should be in very high demand ... So why should they purposely rip us off? Give the guys a break, lets hope they can reach a deal with google to get higher API search quota and wait for news if you are unsure about the present situation.

Im not sure what all the fuss is about with this app... Its working just fine for me(Canada) and it uses google maps over that joke apple maps. Its free and accurate, definitely worth the download IMO

Does the job. Faster image loading speeds wouldnt hurt though. Overall, pretty good.

I was so happy to find this app. Which give quick and efficient access to Google Maps again. Much better then using the Google Maps Mobile Web Interface.

This app patches in Google map location data on iOS regardless of which version youre using. Its designed for trips to give you best route through several waypoints, something the regular maps apps dont do. What this app really needs is built-in help. It took some time before I learned how route pins work. Its also not immediately clear that you can add tool buttons to the screen to assist in creating routes. The author should ditch the in-app purchase and just make this a 99¢ app. Maps+ is a great app and worth it for those who want a more full featured map app for iOS.

Could have been an amazing app, but it is restricted to 8 way points, even for paid version at 2,39€, so In the end - nice app, but rubbish in the long run, as impossible to define complex routings

Or, elle ne remplace rien du tout ! - une option « trafic » existe, mais elle ne fonctionne pas ! - la recherche de commerces ou de points dintérêt ne fonctionne pas non plus! - pas de boussole... Bref, passez votre chemin... English: This app intends to replace Google Maps that, unfortunately, disappeared from iOS 6. Let me be perfectly clear: it does NOT do the job! - although there is "traffic" option, it simply does not work. That is even acknowledged in the support pages...! Seeing that option in the settings is what prompted me to upgrade to the pro version. What a mistake... - Searches are nowhere near as good as in the Google maps app, or even the Apple maps... - the lack of a compass is also a problem... Dont bother !

Money down the toilet. Doesnt creat a route. Cant find any places that google maps finds. Just awful. Too complicated to use.

Crashes when u most need it. Specialy when recording a track. I wouldnt use it for professinal purpose!

The developer website is still showing nice features, which indeed are removed now. No more GPS recording and track export to GPX, no more integrated routing.
