As with all the other reviews, the only reason I paid for this app was to use the routing features - literally the only reason. Sans that function, the app is useless to me, and Im very disappointed by the developers decision in this update. For myself, Ill be wary of any other apps from this developer in the future.

This app use to be good app after you cut all the useful out. I bought it because of tracking routes pls bring it back.

Why when a try to find a route it launch the iPhone maps app, which does no work at all, dont know why to take away one of the best features

It would be really interesting to learn what happened, and what was the thought process for this "upgrade". The loss of "waypoints" makes this version 1/10th as functional as the prior version. To tell you the truth, this version of Maps+ should have been named Maps----- I cant see that this product has any more functionality than the basic (and useless) Apple Maps. Definitely NOT worth paying for!

I am deleting this app since they took away all useful features

I purchased this map app about a year or two ago because it provided a unique method of laying out map routes instead of the typical "turn by turn" routing you get with most all other map apps. The old version was perfect for gaining a broad overview of where you were in relation to other "pins". The new version interfaces directly with google maps- and takes away everything that made this app unique.

I used this app for years due to its good feature set. But since then its feature set has been reduced to being totally useless to me - and yes, back in the day I purchased the "advanced features". The developer should do the world a great favor and just kill it off.

Im flabbergasted at the developers decision to do away with the apps biggest selling point: providing optimized routing for the waypoints (pins) that the user inputs. Now the app is worthless and if it is definitely something for which I would not pay $2.99. Very disappointed!

This new version is a glorified Google Maps and Apple Maps. When I bought my original version, (yes it wasnt free) it had great features, like tracking and navigation. You could force the route to go where you wanted to go with user selected pins. Now, it does not offer anything special. I wish I could get my money back. The developer says they made it easier to use, which is true for novice users of the old app, but they made it easier to use by removing the cool features that set it apart from others.

I used this app for routing in past version. Now it takes you to Google. Good app if you prefer opening two apps to accomplish one task in a cumbersome non-productive way. Also nice if you have too much drive space, good filler.

Current versions search feature doesnt work, also doesnt route in app anymore. It just opens Google or Apple maps. Waste of time and money.

The biggest differentiator for this app used to be advanced routing, tracking and bookmarks. Thats why I paid the money for it. (That and it was miles better than Apple Maps). But with this major new release, theyve taken out two of those major feature categories. The worst part? Directions take you to Google or Apple Maps app. Excuse me, but why did I pay $2.99 for you to take me to another app to do basic directions? Because you map my Twitter feed (new feature)? Sorry, but knowing where someone just tweeted a photo of their butterfly whip cream design in their Pumpkin Spice Latte with the latest Instagram filter isnt going to help me get to Carson City. Lame regression. I wont use this app until they bring back a reason for me to do so. Bring back: Advanced routing Tracking features/Alarms In-App turn-by-turn directions Quick Pin Hide/Show button

Even though Ive purchased the app, it tells me my search queries limit has been reached over and over and over. Now it is unusable. Dont buy this.

I absolutely love this map especially for trip planning. I drop purple pins for restaurants, brown pins for hotels, green pins for you Museums, etc.
